Coffee, Network & Cowork
HomeWork Network is a relaxed business networking morning hosted on the last Tuesday of each month at one of HomeWork’s sites.
We welcome hosted local freelancers and founders, coaches and mentors, plus a myriad of marketing, design and professional services experts - these sessions provide space for local businesses to ask for help, and even investment.
I’ve been to 2 or 3 of the networking / masterclass events and I have seen tangible outcomes for all 3 areas of my work!
1. Found a client who I consulted for on digital marketing and social media.
2. Have been introduced to potential clients, one of which we won, for The Contented Agency.
3. Realised it would be a great venue for the first Soul Sunday wellness event!
It has been such a breath of fresh air on two counts; one, to get out of the habit of staying in the flat working all day. The sessions have given me fresh energy and motivation. And two, to realise that networking doesn’t have to be a room full of people trying to be cool and sell the shiny versions of themselves or their company, all whilst holding their cards very close. I find HW Networking mornings create an open atmosphere, where people are unafraid to ask for help, share their concerns and then truly try to help one another by sharing expertise.

HomeWork Network is an excellent session and reinforces what you are all doing at HomeWork in not only providing physical work space but creating a network of people that can offer moral and sometimes more support to each other. Really enjoyed meeting the other members around the table.
