Southfields Perks
We have really enjoyed our time at HomeWork, since joining as a flexible member at HomeWork, Bookado has increased its productivity day-to-day and overall it has helped increase our growth. Some of our team have also attended a couple of the workshop sessions organised by HomeWork which was a great opportunity to meet some of our peers in the workspace, and gain valuable start-up insights!
Tim & Nathan - Southfields
The single biggest key outcome for me has been regaining my focus which has come about through the strong sense of community, separation of work and home, relaxed and friendly but focused and purposeful atmosphere, and lovely coffee. Other outcomes have included; inviting and working with colleagues and clients in the space, being offered the opportunity to present the business in front of others in the Workspace community, invitations to networking events, and ultimately gaining more business and contacts to support my business.
Luke Chitty - Southfields
Homework is the perfect ‘home away from home’ work solution. NAC and ME has been able to create a comfortable but professional workspace where even our puppy is treated like family. As a content creation agency we have many different needs that have all been met by Homework, including office space, meeting space, workout space and those much-needed coffees for long workdays. You couldn’t ask for a more flexible and happy place to work.
Nicita Botha - Southfields
HomeWork is a lifesaver for me for a variety of reasons:
1. Productivity: I live just down the road but I am one of those people who needs to ‘go’ to the office. HomeWork allows me to effectively ‘WFH’ in a nicer, more productive environment.
2. Time saver: Having a couple of hours of my day back from not having to take the train in, makes my days feel a lot easier. It puts me in a far greater headspace knowing I don’t have to trawl to central on busy public transport every day.
3. Culture. My job doesn’t have a lot of physical presence in the UK. Moving all the way over from New Zealand, where I still don’t know many faces yet, it does make it difficult that the majority of my colleagues rarely come to the office. I much prefer the social setting here, it makes my days a lot more enjoyable.
This office means a lot to me moving to the other side of the world & not knowing anyone!
Jaydon Maire - Southfields
HomeWork has been transformative for us as a business. We have used the space to get back into an office environment coming from working from home for two years!! We started with three members of staff and we now have a strong team of eight! We love the whole atmosphere at HomeWork.
Ashleigh Whatley - Southfields
Ultimately, The Font Borough is the most obvious & tangible outcome for us! Homework gave me the focused space to plan our move to a multi-site leisure operator, and all that entails. The Font Borough went from inception to launch during our first 12 months at Homework. Plus those in the pipeline!
Joey Powis - Southfields
I have been coming to HomeWork for over a year – it is hard to imagine going back to a regular city commute or working from my kitchen now. I don’t need the flexibility, though they have that. Personally, I value the reliability, the routine of coming here and getting out of the house. I am much more productive here and have a nice desk setup that is better for my back. I like that there is such diversity here too – nationalities, professions, companies, ages. I now know a whole new set of local people, and so I feel much more part of my area now. The HomeWork team are also great – they have been really open to ideas, and I have enjoyed collaborating with them to set up the networking events. They have also come to my rescue more than once, most recently when I left my handbag in the office!
Amy White - Southfields
We are a small start-up established during the pandemic so we have been growing our business predominantly through remote collaboration from home. As the business grew it was both an operational need and a personal wish that we spend much more time engaging with each other in person. We were reluctant to commit to an office lease or a serviced office as, initially at least, we really only required a small space two to three days per week. HomeWork has proved to be an excellent fit for our needs offering fixed desks with great facilities and customer service – oh and barista coffee! Our desks have transformed our working week giving us an environment in which to collaborate in person and break away from the monotony of working purely from our homes. In short, HomeWork is providing us with a cost-effective and well-supported platform to grow our business further.
Paul & Rory - Southfields
As a freelance consultant working from home can get boring and be unproductive. HomeWork has a great feel about it. My productivity has increased since I’ve been working there and I’ve made some new friends too. It’s also very reasonably priced compared to some work spaces in London! And the coffee is lovely too.
Reena Kotecha - Southfields
As an established business that had always leased its own commercial property, Nevado found itself at a crossroads as the world started to emerge from the pandemic. Our team needed much more flexibility and the business case for leasing was no longer strong enough. We found a great solution at HomeWork, where we have dedicated desks for our regulars but also the ability to book more space as and when we need it; plus meeting rooms, phone booths and breakout spaces that we would not have had if we had leased a small serviced office. We love the location of HomeWork in Southfields, with instant access to everything on the high street, but the best thing about it has been the friendly, professional service team who always make you feel welcome, are always happy to help and make dangerously good coffee.
Andy Wood - Southfields
HomeWork has given me the chance to work efficiently in a quiet, spacious environment but also socialise with other members. I feel it is important to have a social aspect to your work to stop you feeling lonely, and HomeWork (especially the people working there) make you feel so comfortable and happy and welcome!
Lucy Rainbow - Southfields
HomeWork has become an essential part of my working week, allowing me to work close to home, but benefit from all the great things that come from working in an office. I’m more productive, I get to talk to people outside zoom and the coffee is pretty special too…
Ben Gibbon - Southfields
As someone who has worked remotely for over a decade and tried out several shared workspaces, I can’t recommend HomeWork highly enough. The space itself is perfectly set up – the perfect balance of professional, with all mod cons, cosy and comfy. What really sets HomeWork apart, though, is the service. The team here are so accommodating, bending over backwards to accommodate requests and create a real community feel. If there are any issues, which is rare in the extreme, they are attentive and responsive. I have no reservations in inviting my blue-chip clients to meetings and workshops at the space. The coffee is awesome, too.
Konrad Collao - Southfields
One thing that makes HomeWork stand out is that it’s not just a space or a building to work in – it is a community that is powered by its amazing staff, great facilities and super coffee. Quickly HomeWork has become a hub and a community focal point in Southfields. You can tell that in the Covid era, people are drawn to its uniqueness and its focus on great space and great service. I am grateful that I found it.
Rachel Keenan - Southfields
Getting the team together has made us more productive, we laugh more and when we struggle… we struggle together instead of alone. I can coach in the moment which is really really important for me. Personally for me it feels like home. The team are happier with the routine and structure to the week. Also, just want to say how lovely it is to be there and there are many reasons for this, but number 1 is you guys and your amazing team. Professional, kind, genuine. I know how crazy much amounts of work goes into what you do so I want to say thank you and well done — you guys rock.
Harry Wilson - Southfields
Being a creative professional, I enjoy working in HomeWork Workspace because the environment is conducive for productivity. It is simply-designed, bright and clean. A cluttered, over-designed or loud environment is the very antithesis to the creative mindset. The facilities are good quality and sufficient for my use. The location is bustling and convenient. But what makes this place special is the staff, who are friendly and helpful, and always ensure that my dog and I feel welcome. I highly recommend HomeWork Workspace. With very little outlay, you can start developing your ideas, your business, your professionalism and build the foundations of a healthy work ethic, all in a caring environment.
Ivy Ngeow - Southfields
I’ve been with Homework Southfields since it opened and it’s been amazing ever since. Productivity levels have shot through the roof compared to working from home and being around people made such a difference to my personal life. I love the way the staff are so friendly and there are always networking events being arranged which has been a really great way to meet people. I even started working some! Really great energy in this place and I can say the same about all the other locations too. Highly recommended.
Tony Nour - Southfields
Since working at HomeWork Southfields I’ve found a huge increase in my productivity rates and my efficiency level. This could either be due to the hardworking nature of the businesses and individuals around me, or the free coffee. I’ve found that with this increase in productivity I now have more time to work on my own marketing, networking and sales strategy. The location of the office is perfect and having a short commute means I’m closer to home whilst still having the boundaries between work life and social life. If you’re looking for an office space in South West London I can highly recommend HomeWork.

I first started going to HomeWork Putney just before Covid hit. Despite it being a communal working space, the layout is very cleverly designed to ensure privacy and the co-workers are very respectful of one another, extremely important to me given my work as a headhunter means I am having confidential conversations with people throughout the day. There are also ample private booths/rooms when required, hired at very reasonable prices. What struck me immediately is the professionalism and friendliness of the front-of-house staff. They take the time and care to make you feel welcome and are on hand at any point to answer any questions – they treat the business with the care that you’d only really expect from the owner! When I heard that they were opening in Southfields, I was delighted as it’s an even shorter commute! I am delighted to say that it’s business as usual. Once again, it is beautifully decorated and designed solely with the customer in mind. Kit and the rest of the front-of-house staff (plus Digby the dog!) are first rate and I work very successfully there at least once a week. Fantastic service and even better people!
Peter Mansell-Jones - Southfields
For many of us, we are redefining where we ‘do work’. That is where HomeWork comes in – they offer flexibility, community, healthy working environments and service with a smile. They epitomise a good business model. Know what you want to be famous for, and execute well. It always feels like no ask is too much for the super staff that power HomeWork. From tech issues to space issues to not enough coffee – every need is catered for and it’s a pleasure to hang out there. Thank you for bringing this space to SW London.
Elizabeth Keenan - Southfields
Great co-working space with a variety of desks, breakout areas, meeting rooms and private booths. Excellent specialty coffee and super friendly staff who made it a really pleasant experience.

Both my husband and I flexi work out of HomeWork Southfields. It has honestly, changed our lives. As freelancers, having a flexible and comfortable working environment so close to our house has been invaluable. It’s meant we can work in peace and quiet in a professional setting, away from the hubbub of our house filled with young children but still be home in 5 minutes, should we need to. The HomeWork Team are also phenomenal, they know all their regulars by name, are so friendly and make you feel like you’re walking into a working environment that you work at all the time. We couldn’t be more grateful to have a space like this on our doorstep, we feel totally blessed. We’ve got a better work/life balance, we’re able to draw better boundaries in our personal and professional worlds and we’re able to focus more. As working parents, this can be incredibly challenging at times. Thank you Team HomeWork! P.S. The coffee is also fantastic!

Working at Homework has been amazing ! I think the key ingredients for us are:
1. The people: All the on-site staff have been so helpful and with exception all have been a real help as we juggle the starting of a new business. Nothing is too much trouble.
2. The flexibility: when we started we had no idea how much we’d be in the office and how many desks we’d need. We didn’t want to overspend as a new start up. Now we have 2 Fixed desks which is the sensible and affordable option for us.
3. The networking: We’ve met some good people at HomeWork and look forward to contracting with some of the businesses we have met. This is really useful for any start up.
4. The coffee: I really appreciate the coffee, it’s great and I look forward to starting the day at HomeWork where they even bring the coffee to my desk when I’m rushing because I’m late!
Ben Temple - Southfields
A way to distance work and personal life compared than working form home and I feel way more productive here.

Professional, focused environment.

The Homework space in Southfields is the perfect mix of productivity, creativity in a spacious and relaxed environment. I remember walking in for the first time and all my first day ‘nerves’ vanished due to the space and air of the office. The fresh greenery and cleanliness of kitchens gives the office that perfect combination of easy going yet efficient. I always look forward to the delicious coffees and the warmth of the staff in the mornings, which never fails to set me up for a great day. Whenever we need a bit of privacy for meetings, we can transfer into the slick meeting rooms or booths. The office also has shower facilities which is perfect for when I’m going to “run into the office………” I genuinely have never worked in such a fresh and positive environment.
